Radiology Students Hospital Visit, 26 Feb 2022
School of Medical and Allied Sciences, GD Goenka University aims to tirelessly work towards uplifting the knowledge of their students about the functional and practical aspects of their respective courses. The Department of Radiology organized an educational visit to the Umkal Hospital for the students (Semester II). This method of learning through experience had a commendable impact on students. The Head of the Department, Mr. Imtiyaz Ansari himself briefed the students about the imaging modalities. The skilled professional of the hospital taught the students about the functional and technological aspects of X-Ray, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography and DEXA. The interaction with staff and imaging modalities helped our students in attaining better vision about the practical implementation of Radiology
