Lesson Planning based on Taxonomies of Educational Objectives: Thematic Lecture Series organized at School of Education

At School of Education, G D Goenka University we believe that teachers are not born; but made. Planning lessons objectively is both a science and art and is the first step to ensure effective teaching. During the thematic lecture series organized from February 19- March 06, 2018, student-teachers of B.Ed. Semester II learnt various concepts like educational aims and objectives, Bloom’s Taxonomy of Instructional Objectives in cognitive, affective and psychomotor domain. They practiced specifying instructional objectives in behavioural terms based on Mager, Miller and RCEM approach. They studied the theoretical and practical aspects of preparing lesson and unit plans based on various approaches.
