School of Education, G D Goenka University celebrated Diwali on October 13, 2017 with great festive fervour. Diwali is not just a day which is an ode to the home coming of Lord Rama, it also carries with it the essence of victory of good over evil.The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness or good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. The student-teachers presented various cultural programmes such as dance, songs, poems and speech to celebrate the festival. Student-teachers decorated the corridors with colourful rangolis. The programme concluded with the blessings of Prof. (Dr.) Reva Raina, Dean, School of Education.
