Byte Arena Quiz on IT, Operations, and Analytics
Event Overview: The Byte Arena, a quiz competition focused on IT, Operations, and Business Analytics, was organized by the Byte Brigade club at School of Management, GD Goenka University. The event took place on November 6, 2024, at the 205 A Block Computer Lab in the university.
The web-based quiz had a trial round followed by three main rounds focused on different domains: IT, Operations, and Business Analytics.

- The quiz was conducted using Konfhub.com, an interactive online platform.
Quiz Structure: The quiz consisted of four rounds:
- Trial Round:
- Topic: IT
- Format: 10 questions, 15 seconds per question
- Round 1: IT Quiz
- Format: 10 questions, 25 seconds per question
- Round 2: Operations Quiz
- Format: 20 questions, 25 seconds per question
- Round 3: Business Analytics Quiz
- Format: 20 questions, 25 seconds per question
Prize Distribution:
The prizes for the Byte Arena quiz competition were graciously distributed by Dr. Smitha Viswanathan Girija, Dean of the School of Management. Her presence during the prize distribution ceremony added a sense of significance to the event, celebrating the participants' achievements and encouraging academic excellence.
The quiz was conducted by the Byte Brigade Club (IT, Analytics and Operations Club at School of Management) under the supervision of Dr. Parul Sinha and Dr Kishore Morya.
Learning Outcomes:
The event saw many participants from different departments, demonstrating great enthusiasm for learning and testing their knowledge across various fields like IT, operations, and business analytics. The Byte Arena Quiz was a successful event that provided participants with a competitive platform to showcase their knowledge across multiple domains. The event was well-received, and the winners were congratulated by the faculty and organizers. The quiz tested not only the participants’ theoretical knowledge but also their ability to apply concepts from IT, Operations, and Analytics under timed conditions.
