School of Medical and Allied Sciences at GD Goenka University organized a guest lecture by Dr. Mary Skelly, CEO of Microbide Group, Dublin on “Causes and possible remedy of antimicrobial resistance”. Dr. Mary has significant experience in Regulatory Affairs and Business Development and currently she is working on Vector borne diseases prevention.
Students of B. Pharm and BPT attended this invited talk. The main objective of the discussion was to make students acquainted about current scenario of irrational use of antibiotics and resistance acquired against antibiotics. The session was extended by Dr. Mary by briefing students about the vector borne diseases prevention and her project about the same. The entire session was very interactive and knowledgeable
