Introduction:

Tushaar Sonkar is a Communication Designer and Educator with expertise in branding, visual identity, motion design, and storytelling. His work spans across sectors including technology, mobility, FMCG, and social impact. Tushaar has contributed to key design and communication projects for organizations like Samsung R&D, Orxa Energies, and Local Ferment Co., shaping brand narratives and creating multimedia content across digital and physical platforms.

He has a keen interest in contextual and community-driven design. His notable work with the Snow Leopard Conservancy India Trust in Ladakh involved developing educational content and puppetry-based engagement tools for children and women in remote villages, aimed at promoting wildlife conservation and cultural awareness.

With a teaching approach grounded in research and real-world practice, Tushaar currently serves as Assistant Professor at the Unitedworld Institute of Design, Delhi-NCR. He mentors students in visual communication, brand systems, and storytelling for emerging media. His pedagogy encourages critical thinking, cultural sensitivity, and design that is both purposeful and impactful.
