Pragya Sachdeva practice spans across industry, academia, and grassroots engagement, shaped by her work with fashion brands, manufacturing environments, and traditional craft clusters. With a deep sensitivity towards Indian textiles and a commitment to sustainability, Pragya’s work explores the intersections of materiality, identity, and contemporary design narratives.
As a design researcher, she has presented her work at national and international platforms, contributing to conversations around heritage, community, and socially responsive innovation and design. Her research approach is embedded in fieldwork, storytelling, and cultural continuity.
At Unitedworld of Design, NCR, she teaches across modules including fashion design, styling, concept development, and design thinking. Her pedagogy is rooted in real-life project integration, research-based inquiry, and narrative exploration—encouraging students to develop context-aware, process-driven, and reflective design practices. She believes in nurturing an environment where learners connect meaningfully with the world around them, using design not just as a skill, but as a tool for dialogue, impact, and lasting relevance.
