Introduction:

Dr. Sangita Sharma is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Department of Education (SoHSE), G.D. Goenka University. She has an extensive background in the field of education and has worked in various teacher training institutions including Lovely Professional University (Jalandhar), Regional Institute of Education (Ajmer), and Mata Harki Devi College of Education (Odhan), where she held the position of Assistant Professor.

Her academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Before pursuing her doctoral studies, she completed her M.A. in English Literature and M.Ed. from Kurukshetra University. 

Dr. Sharma has demonstrated academic excellence by qualifying for the UGC NET in Education in 2014. Additionally, she was awarded the ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship for the period of 2015-2017, highlighting her commitment to research and scholarship. 

Her contributions to academia are evident through her publications. She has authored and co-authored numerous publications, including books, and has also been involved in patenting innovative ideas or inventions.

She has actively participated in both national and international seminars and conferences, where she has presented research papers and shared her expertise in various areas of specialization. Her areas of expertise encompasses teaching English Language, Social Studies, Communication, Inclusive Education, Personality Development and traditional Art & Crafts.

Apart from her academic achievements, Dr. Sangita Sharma is a multifaceted individual with talents in dance, mime, painting, sculpturing, and other artistic endeavors. Her prowess in these fields has earned her accolades at various youth festivals.
