Introduction:

Ms. Monika is Assistant professor, School of Healthcare & Allied Sciences, GD Goenka University since 2019.

Ms. Monika is expert in the area of formulation development using the novel techniques such microsphere and nanoparticles.

Before joining GD Goenka University in 2019, she worked as an assistant professor in BSAIP, Faridabad where she taught cosmetic science and pharmaceutics to bachelor students. She also worked as a quality control analyst in pharmaceutical company, Chandigarh for 2 years and was engaged in the chemical and microbiological testing of antibiotics and analgesic drugs. She has hands on experience of microbiological technology and instrument such as UV spectroscopy, FTIR and other analytical instruments. She is credited with 17 research and review papers, 7 book chapters and one book. Two M. Pharm students awarded their degree under her guidance and two are doing their project on nanomedicine.

Monika holds bachelor degree from Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be) University, Mullana, Ambala, Haryana and Master degree from Chandigarh College of Pharmacy, Landran, Mohali.

Research Area: Nanotechnology, Topical Delivery Systems, Oncology, Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Major subjects handled: Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence, and NDDS in the GD Goenka University.
