Introduction:

Dr. Ashok Yadav is an Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Cardiovascular technology, School of Healthcare & Allied Sciences, GD Goenka University since 2021.

Dr Ashok Yadav has a specialization in the area of Medical laboratory sciences and Cardiovascular technology. He has taught the UG and PG students at universities such as GD Goenka University (India) and Amity University Haryana. Dr. Ashok has served as Examiner for various State Universities.

He has a research experience of 5 years. He has completed his Ph.D. at Amity institute of Biotechnology , Haryana , and awarded degree by Amity Nehru University, Haryana. During his Ph.D. tenure he worked with life sciences department of Jawahar Lal Nehru University and Mycology department ,PGI Chandigarh. After completing Post graduation in clinical microbiology he has worked with different department of pathology and cardiology in various multi specialty hospitals. He also established an NABL accredited chain of pathology labs in Haryana.

During Ph.D ,He has worked to understand and characterization and molecular mechanism of drug resistance in clinical fungal isolates.

Ashok Yadav’s current research interests are research interest lies in understanding the mechanism of ventricular dysfunction and molecular mechanism of antifungal resistance

Research Area – Molecular mechanism behind heart failure ,antifungal resistance in clinical samples and prevalence of pathogenic fungal species.
