Introduction:

Dr. Vikas Jhawat is an expert in the area of polymer-based dosage formulation development using novel techniques. He has also completed several diploma courses, including a technical training program on Pharmacovigilance case processing from the Academy of Clinical Intelligence, Chandigarh, as well as PG diplomas in Pharma Regulatory Affairs from BII, Noida, and Product Management from ISBM, Chandigarh.

He has over 11 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience at various levels within the Department and University. Dr. Jhawat has guided several Ph.D. and master's students, contributing to the development of innovative solutions in pharmaceutics. He has played a pivotal role in mentoring young researchers and fostering a research-oriented academic environment.

Prior to joining GD Goenka University, he worked at Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be) University (India) and as a Quality Control Analyst at Venus Remedies, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. In this role, he was engaged in the testing of anticancer, antibiotics, and analgesic drugs. He has hands-on experience with sophisticated instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV spectroscopy, FTIR, and other analytical instruments.

Dr. Jhawat has published over 65 research papers and book chapters in highly indexed national and international journals. He is actively involved as an editor and reviewer in many prestigious national and international journals. His extensive contributions to the field of pharmaceutics reflect his commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Received seed money of 3.5 Lacs from GD Goenka University for a research project on drug development.
