Introduction: Dr. Anshu Sharma (PT) currently serves as a Demonstrator at G.D. Goenka University, Sohna, Gurugram, Haryana. She holds a Master of Physiotherapy degree in Neurology, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to both her academic role and clinical practice.

Dr. Anshu Sharma is a registered physiotherapist with the Haryana Council of Physiotherapy and is passionate about advancing the field through both education and research. Her primary areas of interest include Neurological Rehabilitation, Cognitive Rehabilitation, Pediatric Physiotherapy, Geriatric Physiotherapy, and Women’s Health. These diverse fields reflect her holistic approach to physiotherapy and patient care.

Before joining G.D. Goenka University, Dr. Anshu Sharma practiced at Manipal Hospital, Dwarka, Delhi, where she made significant contributions to clinical advancements, especially in neuro-physiotherapy. Her work at the hospital helped improve the quality of care for many patients, and she was recognized for her dedication with the Young Physiotherapist Award. Her clinical experience is complemented by her academic achievements, as she has published over 5 research papers in esteemed national and international journals. Additionally, Dr. Sharma holds 3 patents, 10 copyrights, and has contributed to 2 books and chapters.

Research Area

She focuses on Cognitive Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury, Paediatric Physiotherapy, and the Integration of Advanced Exercise Protocols in Neuro-Rehabilitation. Dr. Sharma’s research delves into Gynaecological Physiotherapy, where she integrates physiotherapeutic approaches to support women’s health, especially in the areas of pelvic health and post- partum rehabilitation.
