Dr. Sharma is a renowned authority in the fields of Biometrics and Machine Learning, with over twenty-three years of experience in computer engineering education. Throughout her distinguished career, she has made significant contributions to academia and research.

She has served as a Lecturer and Head of Department in the Computer Engineering Department at Border Security Force STS-I, Tigri Camp, New Delhi, and at Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology and Government College of Engineering.

Dr. Sharma holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Amravati University, Maharashtra, and a Master's degree in Computer Science from IETE, New Delhi. She further solidified her academic credentials by obtaining a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from GD Goenka University.

Dr. Sharma has authored several research papers in reputable Scopus indexed journals and has presented papers at various international and national conferences. Her contributions to the field have been recognized with certifications such as MICROSOFT CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL in SQL Server 2000 and an NPTEL ONLINE certification in DIGITAL IMAGE PROCESSING.

Dr. Sharma's expertise has garnered her recognition as a reviewer in various reputed Scopus indexed journals. Her research interests encompass a wide spectrum, including biometric security, personal authentication, image processing, machine learning, and deep learning.
