Introduction:

Megha Gupta is an expert in the domain of nanotechnology anddevelopment of novel polymer-based drug delivery systems and formulation development. She is associated with Nuclear Medicine & Allied Science, DRDO, IIT Delhi, SEM Characterization Institute for the research work. She prepared a Three-dimensional scaffold and bandages for the treatment of Acute and Chronic Wound.

Dr. Megha has been involved in the development of smart materials for various biological applications. Currently, she is working in the area of development of materials for chronic and acute wound healing, where she is developing the scaffolds and nanofibers based on biomaterials for wound repair system generation. The biomaterials majorly used are carbohydrate-based polymer systems blended in different ratios and encapsulated with drugs casted into superabsorbent systems and wound dressings.

She qualified GATE in 2017 and awarded with Best Dissertation award by Rajasthan University.
