Introduction:

Ms. Manka Sharma is a faculty of computer science engineering with expertise in the areas of artificial intelligence, deep learning, data mining, big data analytics, machine learning, and database management systems. She has 19 years of academic experience and has delivered courses based on both the Indian and UK education standards. Prior to taking up the current role in 2018, Manka Sharma served as Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator for M. Eng programs at GD Goenka World Institute | Lancaster University.

Manka Sharma is presently pursuing her Ph.D. in information technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. She has an M. Tech (IT) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University; M.Sc. (Computer Science) from Maharshi Dayanand University; and B.E. (Computer) from the University of Pune.

Ms. Manka Sharma has contributed to several technical projects, book chapters, International and National conferences and Journals. Manka has also chaired many technical sessions at international conferences, received best presentation awards and contributed as reviewer. She has also conducted several Professional Development Programs for the Industry Professionals and University and School faculty members in the domain of Artificial Intelligence. Her research domain includes Deep Learning based design and development of hybrid and optimized model for Earthquake Detection and Magnitude Estimation using real world Earthquake Waveform Dataset.
