Entrepreneurship Club

The student led E-Cell of GD Goenka Technology and Business Incubator (GDGTBI) organized a workshop on the theme “Challenges in the road towards Entrepreneurship” on 10th October 2018 in the GD Goenka University campus. The session was conducted by Mr. Rakesh Misri, Co-founder and Business Head, Jovees Herbals. Mr. Misri addressed the students about his journey of being an entrepreneur. He emphasized on the importance of CASH versus KASH i.e Knowledge, Attitude, Skills and Honesty. He emphasized on the importance of ‘Focus’ and ‘Karma’ in order to achieve one’s destiny. He also discussed about the key challenges in the individual’s entrepreneurial journey like money, people, patience, relationships, etc and the solution framework for the same via What to do, When to do and How to do with relevant examples. He emphasised on the four keys to success i.e. passion, preparation, perseverance and leadership. He advised the students to develop towards gaining a mastery and inner power to be successful. It was truly an enthusiastic session with a high level of interaction and round of questions with the students. In the end he was presented with a token of appreciation by Head, GDGTBI Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Kaushik.
