Department of Economics, in collaboration with National Skills & Environment Protection Foundation, organised aWorkshop on ‘Possible Intervention on Climate Change and Aatmnirbhar Bharat through Urban Plantation Practices’ on Monday 27th March ‘23 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The workshop was supported by IFFCO for their Urban Gardening initiative. The workshop emphasised on urban plantation practices, kitchen gardening etc. as leading and productive idea not only to mitigate effect of climate change but also as a wonderful option for income and employment generation.
The representative from NSEPF Mr Sumit Giri well explained and demonstrated how plantation of useful plants and trees can be practices at home using minimum resources. Overall the workshop was a grand success. It was attended by the faculty and students
