Visit to IoTechWorld Avigation Pvt Ltd 2024

MBA students specializing in Business Analytics and Operations Management from the School of Management at GD Goenka University recently had the opportunity to explore the cutting-edge world of agricultural drones at IoTechWorld Avigation Pvt Ltd. The visit, organized by the Byte Brigade Club and guided by Prof. (Dr.) Kishore Kumar Morya and Dr. Nidhi Singh, provided students with hands-on exposure to the use of drone technology in modern agriculture.

During the visit, students toured the company’s expansive 52,000-square-foot facility, which houses drone assembly, research and development, and quality control operations. They were able to witness the intricate production of essential components like drones and BLDC motors, gaining insight into the advanced engineering and technology behind these products.

One of the highlights of the tour was the demonstration of the “Agribot” model, a drone designed for precision spraying and data collection in sustainable farming. Students learned how such drones contribute to more efficient and environmentally friendly agricultural practices by reducing resource wastage and improving crop management. The visit also emphasized the role of precision agriculture in achieving climate action goals and enhancing productivity in farming.
