School of Law G D Goenka University organizes Kerala Flood Relief Donation Camp
The students of School of Law, GD Goenka University in association with the Delhi High Court Lawyers Association took up the initiative to conduct a flood relief camp in the University premises to help the victims of one of the biggest tragedies which hit Kerala last month. Stalls were put up during the whole week inviting students to donate towards the cause.
On 8th September, 2018 the students went and delivered all the donations received to the lawyers associated with the flood relief drive at Delhi High Court. They also met Hon’ble Mr. Justice Kurian Joseph (Judge, Supreme Court of India) who was present at the donation camp along with other renowned judges and senior advocates. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Kurian Joseph personally congratulated the whole team for their efforts. Mrs Usha Nandini, Advocate, High Court Lawyers Association guaranteed that the donations would reach the needy soon.
