Le Cordon Bleu India GD Goenka University recently experienced hosting few members of the Culture Corps of Korean Buddhism on 10th February 2023 at Bistro d’Aravallis in-house restaurant. The Cultural Corps of Korean Buddhism was established in affiliation to the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism for promoting Korean Buddhism and its opulent cultural diversity.
Yousin kim Manager of Buddhist Monastic Cuisine-Jooyeon Lee Member of Buddhist Monastic Cuisine-Ara Mo Manager of PR Team-Chungki Hwang Deputy director of Cultural Corps of Korean Buddhism was few among the guests.
The menu curated by LCB students was light traditional South Indian food to showcase the simplicity and well-balanced diet. Such culturally enriched cuisine workshops will create diversity in food and gastronomic fusion as a learning for our aspiring chefs. Satvik food was purposely chosen as it symbolizes the rich luxuriant culture of Asia. The event embarked the celebration of 50 years of friendship between India and Korea and has opened avenues for enhanced learning .
