Visit to Community Centre
School organized a visit to Community Centre, Bhondsi on 21 August 2023 for Govt. School students and village females to learn about the ‘Impact of Science on Environment’ through hands-on activities on Waste Management, Plantation Drive and Science Concepts.
Dr. Apeksha Mittal, Dr. Kirti Amresh Gautam and Dr.Binitedra Nath Mongal along with student volunteers illustrated the easy process of converting kitchen waste to compost for the effective waste management and to reduce landfills. Dr. Mainak Basu, Dr. Dipesh Popli and Dr. Atul Raj and the associated volunteer students explained the concepts of ‘Light’ through simple experiments based on hand drawings, batteries and chalk powder.
The plantation drive helped all the present students, faculty and staff members understand the importance of protection of environment. It was a wonderful experience for all to interact with the curious minds.
