The workshop on Psychological First Aid, held on February 23, 2024, by the Department of Psychology, focused on providing emergency psychological support to reduce post-traumatic stress disorders. With over 50 participants, including speakers, faculty, and students, the event began with an invocation and featured a keynote address by Dr. Vikas Sharma from SGT University. Dr. Sharma highlighted the importance of Psychological First Aid (PFA) in promoting safety, comfort, and
emotional stability, aiding in mental and emotional recovery, and preventing long- term trauma. The workshop highlighted the essential role of PFA in enhancing resilience and ensuring immediate support and assistance during crises.
