Inter House Rangoli Competition at School of Education GD Goenka University
The student-teachers of School of Education, G D Goenka University participated enthusiastically in Inter House Rangoli Competition organised on the occasion of Deepawali on October 13, 2017. The theme of the competition was ‘Celebrating the Festival of Lights’. Rangoli is an ancient art and timeless tradition that is followed all over India. The word \'Rangoli\' is said to have been derived from the words \'rang\' and \'aavalli\' which refers to a row of colours.The Dean, School of Education, Prof (Dr.) Reva Raina said, “By organising such competitions, student-teachers are introduced to our Indian culture. At the same time, skills of aesthetics, creativity and innovation can be developed amongst them.”.
