Foundation Day Celebration 2024

Foundation Day is a day of reflection, a day of honouring, a day to celebrate what has been achieved over the past years, and a day to look forward to what is yet to come. The University celebrated its eleventh foundation day on 21 August 2024 with a grand celebration which involved all the schools and the students on campus. The theme of the event was ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, symbolizing both the sustainable growth of the university and the sustainable practices synonymous with it. The different schools of the university organized speaker sessions, cultural programs, competitions and plantation drives variously at their level, while there was a joint celebration at the central level, graced by the Hon’ble Chancellor Mrs. Renu Goenka & the Pro-Chancellor, Mr. Nipun Goenka, where all the Goenkan family came together for a joyous celebration.

The highlight of the day was a recognition of employees who have been associated with the group and the university for the past decade and more. Faculty and Staff across the university were recognized for their invaluable contribution to the incredible growth story of the university. Heartfelt messages by those who were felicitated on this day was a sweet reminder of the amazing journey of growth and resilience that the institution has seen over the years. Cultural performances by our talented students added to the glamour of the event. The day came to an end with a plantation drive, symbolizing the journey of sustainable growth that the university has been engaged in since its inception. The Chancellor and Pro-Chancellor extended their wishes to the Goenkan family of Faculty, staff and students, and also expressed their happiness and gratitude towards this strong community of people who have worked zealously through the years.
