Emerging Career Avenues in Physiotherapy Field
Career Guidance and Placement Cell, School of Medical and Allied Sciences, GD Goenka University organised a seminar on ‘Emerging Career Avenues in Physiotherapy Field’ on August 30, 2022 for the students of MPT and BPT final year. The seminar was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Gupta , HoD - Physiotherapy, GD Goenka University. Dr. Sanjeev enlightened the students of final year with conventional and new age prospects of Physiotherapy practice. Dr Sanjeev also apprised the audience with growing academic career opportunities in Physiotherapy. There was a keen discussion from students’ side to understand the skill set required to achieve an enriching work experience and growth. The discussion was followed by Q & A session wherein Dr Gupta clarified common myths and challenges faced by fresh Physiotherapy professionals especially regarding statutory registration and working abroad. Students welcomed the session and wished to have similar programs on more specific areas of their career building.
