Drug Awareness workshop
The Proctorial Board, in collaboration with the NSS Unit and the Student Council, organized an awareness session on the harmful effects of drugs on 5 April 2024.
Resource persons for the event included Shri Dilip Robidas, Assistant Director, and Shri Hardeep, Superintendent, from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Delhi Zone.
They addressed the students on the harmful effects of drugs on the body and mind, reasons for the increase in youth drug consumption, signs of abuse, and the economic and psychological costs. They also discussed solutions to combat drug abuse as a society and individually. The session concluded with a Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs pledge.
