Convocation 2023
GD Goenka University, recognized by the UGC, and a member of prestigious institutions like theAssociation of Indian Universities (AIU), the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU)and the International Association of Universities (IAU), organized the 9th edition of its Annual Convocation on 26 November 2023.
The Convocation was a grand affair and saw 1287 graduands being awarded, out of which 598 were graduates, 602 postgraduates, 52 Diploma, and 35 Ph.D. degrees in various disciplines.
The event also had a total of 99 awardees for the prestigious Gopi Ram Goenka medals which included32 Gold Medalists, 55 silver medalists and 12 bronze medalists. The Chief Guest of the event Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Minister of Information & Broadcastingand Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
The event saw the presence of senior management from GD Goenka Group gracing the occasion which included Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Shri Nipun Goenka, the Executive Director Mrs. Radhika Goenka, Executive Director, GD Goenka Group, and Vice-Chancellor Prof. B. S. Satyanarayana. Shri Anurag Singh Thakur in his convocation address congratulated and inspired the graduating students reminiscing his own days as a young scholar and calling upon the transformative power of the youth. The Convocation was a grand success.
