CAPSULE COURSE ON INTERNATIONAL DATA PRIVACY LAW
GD Goenka School of Law organized a \"Capsule Course on International Data Privacy Law\" from 16th April to 21st April, 2018. The key resource persons were Mr. Matt Slone (Director of Global Litigation Services UnitedLex) and Mr. Nitin Shama (Chief Information Security Officer and the Director of Administration and Procurement for UnitedLex).
The highlights of the course were basics of data security and major international security breaches. They discussed laws & regulations governing data protection across the world including US, EU, China, Singapore, Australia, and India. The course also covered the Aadhaar controversy and its impact on Data Privacy and the future of Indian Data Privacy.
