Analysis of Union Budget 2023-24
Department of Economics, organised a session on the ‘Analysis of Union Budget 2023-24’ for the students and faculty of the School on 17th February, 2023 (Friday) in room no A1- 243. Students of Economics Muskaan Tandon, Dhariya Goel, Shrish Bharti, Aayush, Muskan Oberoi, Muskan Yadav, Aryan & Harsh from BA (Hons) Economics presented a detailed analysis of the Budget in a very non-technical language and simple language for the students for the students from non-economics background.
The attendees were from the disciplines of English, Psychology, Political Science, Sociology and Education. The event was moderated by Muskan Tandon and Ayush of Ba (Hons.) Economics Sem IV. The presenters highlighted how the current budget is going to impact the lives of the people by
focusing on the economic as well as social side of it. The session was elaborative and was praised by all. It concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Rimple Manchanda.
