Alumni Meet 2024

The Alumni Meet of the GD Goenka University Alumni Association took place on January 13, 2024 in collaboration with IBM as industry partner and Harmony House as NGO partner. It was a delightful blend of reminiscence and enjoyment as the university warmly welcomed a vibrant group of graduates returning to their alma mater. The festivities commenced with a heartfelt reception for the alumni, highlighting the University's legacy and ongoing advancements. Encouragement was extended, urging them to maintain a lasting connection with their alma mater in the years ahead.

The Goenkan alumni were treated to a lively atmosphere, as faculty and juniors enthusiastically engaged them in entertaining games. The celebration continued with soulful musical performances and an energetic dance display by BSA Techno-Cultural. The day's pinnacle moment arrived with the presentation of Alma-Star awards, acknowledging the accomplishments of distinguished alumni who proudly carry forward the legacy of their alma mater in various spheres, including the workplace.

The festivities concluded with an enjoyable session where alumni shared amusing anecdotes from their campus lives. The Alumni Meet ended with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Kim Menezes, and the Dean of Student Welfare & International Relations, Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Kaushik, congratulating the winners and urging alumni to stay connected. This was followed by a networking lunch, accompanied by live music from the talented members of the Music Club, who presented enchanting songs for the guests.
