Dr. Sarabjit Mastana, Associate Professor in Human Genetics in the School of Sport, Exercise & Health Sciences at Loughborough University had an interactive session with students of SoMAS on February 5, 2018. He focused on “Genomic & Precision Medicine: opportunities and potentials for biologists and scientists”. He apprised students about safe usage of Sport Medicines. Add on to this, he also focussed on the impact of diet and exercise on the inflammation and genomics of sport performance and endurance. It was very healthy learning session for students. They were found enthusiastic during discussion session.
