B.Design (Hons.) Animation and Digital Media
The Animation and Motion Graphics Department at UID aims at providing top notch Industry standard training in the various facets of animation. Starting from traditional 2D classical animation to the new-age VR animation, every aspect of the subject is covered. The course prepares the student to master one’s skills and understanding so that they can choose any career in the production pipeline, be it in the pre-production, production or post-production level. Independent film-making and commercial film-making both are an integral part of the training.

School of Communication Design
UID’s course on Visual Communication empowers the student to produce creative solutions to meet visual design needs of society. It helps students to become problem solvers and develop effective information & communication. Students are equipped with technical and conceptual skills to articulate and express ideas, think conceptually, conduct research and critically evaluate the process. The course involves imparting Knowledge in Critical Thinking, Design Process and Visual narratives to create defined solutions in the ambit of both Digital and Print mediums.

PSO1: Creative Storytelling and Visual Narrative:Develop the ability to create compelling stories and visual narratives using animation techniques. Students will learn to conceptualize, script, storyboard, and execute animations that effectively communicate ideas and emotions.
PSO2: Sensitivity towards Character and Environment
Develop a nuanced understanding of character development and environmental design, creating animated worlds and characters that are emotionally resonant and contextually immersive.
PSO3: Integration of Artistic and Technical Skills
Combine artistic vision with technical expertise to produce innovative animation projects. Students will be trained to balance creativity and technical precision, creating animations that are both aesthetically pleasing and technically sound.
