QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT OF PHYSIOTHERAPY TEACHERS
1. TUTOR:
i) Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (B.P.T.), from a recognized University.
ii) Junior Lecturer already in service will be re-designated as Tutor.
2. ASSIATANT PROFESSOR:
i) Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (B.P.T.), Master in Physiotherapy (M.P.T.) with 55% or more from a recognized University (an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed from a recognized University).
3. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
i) Master in Physiotherapy (M.P.T.), with eight years total experience as an Assistant Professors/Lecturers &/or Senior Lecturer.
ii) Desirable: Higher Qualification like a Ph.D. in any discipline in Physiotherapy recognized by U.G.C./independent published work of a higher standard.
4. PROFESSOR:
i) Master in Physiotherapy (M.P.T.) with five years of experience as an Associate Professor and eleven years of total experience.
ii) Desirable: Higher Qualification like a Ph.D. in any discipline in Physiotherapy recognized by U.G.C./independent published work of a higher standard.
5. DIRECTOR/DEAN:
i) Master in Physiotherapy (M.P.T.) with fifteen years total experience, including five years experience as Professor(Physiotherapy).
ii)Desirable: Higher Qualification like a Ph.D. in any discipline in Physiotherapy recognized by the UGC/independent published work of a higher standard.

1. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:
i) MBBS, MS Orthopedics, MS Surgery, MD Medicine MSc Anatomy & MSc Physiology from
recognized University (an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed from a recognized University).
2. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
i) MBBS, MS Orthopedics, MS Surgery, MD Medicine MSc Anatomy & MSc Physiology from a recognized University (an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed from a recognized University). With eight years total experience as Assistant Professor/Lecturer &/or Senior Lecturer.
3. PROFESSOR:
i) MBBS, MS Orthopedics, MS Surgery, MD Medicine MSc Anatomy & MSc Physiology from a recognized University (an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever a grading system is followed from a recognized University). With five years; of experience as an Associate Professor and eleven years of total experience.
