Introduction: Dr. Jayaram is an academician and researcher with over 25 years of experience in the field of law.

His professional journey began as an associate lawyer at Fox Mandal Associate – Solicitors and Advocates, a renowned corporate law firm. He transitioned into academia as a researcher at Kerala Agricultural University and served as a faculty member at several prestigious institutions, including the School of Indian Legal Thought, National University of Advanced Legal Studies in Kochi, SDM Law College, Mar Gregorios College of Law, Cooperative School of Law, and Manipal University Jaipur.

Before joining GD Goenka University, he served as the Dean and Professor of Law at Manipal University Jaipur. Dr. Jayaram has held significant roles, such as Head of the Department, Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research at SDM Law College under Karnataka State Law University. He has also served as the Principal of Mar Gregorios College of Law (MGCL) in Trivandrum and the Cooperative School of Law (CSL) in Thodupuzha, Kerala. He played a pivotal in establishing Mar Gregorios College of Law in Trivandrum and the Cooperative School of Law in Thodupuzha. Before Joining GD Goenka University he serves as the Dean and Professor of Law at Manipal University Jaipur, 

Dr. Jayaram has spearheaded numerous innovative academic and professional initiatives. Notably, he established the first institutional arbitration center at Manipal University Jaipur, which earned the Best ADR Innovation Award from the Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration & Mediation (APCAM). He also organized the “First National Law Reforms Competition” at MGCL in collaboration with MILAT and supported by the Law Commission of India. This event garnered MGCL the Institutional Excellence Award by SILF-MILAT in 2017. Additionally, he was instrumental in establishing the Prof. (Dr.) N.R. Madhava Menon Chair on Legal Education at Mar Gregorios College of Law.

One of Dr. Jayaram's notable contributions is organizing "Settle2021" a month-long academic confluence on mediation recognized as the largest event in the field. This event was in partnership with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala State Mediation and Conciliation Centre of the High Court of Kerala, Bar Council of Kerala, and the Confederation of Indian Industry.

Dr. Jayaram is also contributing to the Bar Council of India Inspection Committee. His credentials in academic administration include initiatives for international academic collaborations, the establishment of chairs, affiliations with professional bodies like the International Bar Association (IBA), digitization projects, technology integration in teaching, learning and assessment, implementation of learner-centric choice-based credit systems, and the implementation of outcome-based education (OBE) with instructional designs.
