Introduction:

Dr. Rahul Singh is associated withthe School of Healthcare & Allied Sciences, GD Goenka University since 2018.

Dr. Rahul Singh is currently working as a Professor& Headof the Pharmacy Department at the School of Healthcare and Allied Sciences, GD Goenka University, Gurgaon, India.Dr.Singh has completed B.Pharm from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and M.E. degree in Biotechnology from BITS Pilani. He has done his Ph.D. in cancer biology from Karlsruhe University, Germany, and Post-doc from Heidelberg University, Germany. During his PhD, he worked on CD44 glycoprotein and its role in cancer metastasis and cancer progression. He has more than 20 years of academic and industrial work experience in the field of Drug Discovery, Medical Communications, and Clinical Research at various Internationally acclaimedresearch organizations like the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), Heidelberg, Germany, Industrial Toxicology Research Centre (ITRC Lucknow), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS,New Delhi), Ranbaxy Research laboratories Gurgaon, GVK Biosciences Private Limited Hyderabad, WNS Global Private Limited Gurgaon.Dr. Singh has published research work in high-impact international journals and has delivered several invited lectures and expert talks at various national and international events.

• Awarded with Best Oral Paper presentation entitled ‘The importance of CD44 as a Tumor Biomarker and Drug Target in Cancer Therapy’, at Second International Conference on Fostering Interdisciplinary Research in Health Sciences ICFIRHS 2019, AIMST University Malaysia.
• Completed a course on “Role of effective leadership in strategy implementation” from the University of Leeds UK.
• Completed course on “Laboratory Animal Science and Methods of Animal Experimentation” certified by Society of Laboratory Animal Science (GV -SOLAS), Heidelberg University, Germany
• Poster presented at European Congress of Immunology, held at Berlin, Germany on 13th to 16th September 2009 on my PhD work
• Qualified for UGC-NET examination for eligibility for Lectureship (2003)
• Lifetime member of ISCR, Indian Society for Clinical Research, also helped in building awareness of clinical research and its growth in the country with the highest standards of quality and ethics
