Ms. Jyoti Gangta is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Optometry at GD Goenka University, She is enriched with good academic and clinical experience for more than 6 years.

As the founder of the Vision Therapy unit at Tenzin Hospital, Shimla, she introduced specialized services that significantly improved visual health outcomes. Recognized as the only vision therapist in the state providing upgraded neuro-vision care through online sessions, she has extended her expertise to serve even the most remote rural communities of Himachal Pradesh. Jyoti’s dedication to enhancing access to quality vision care reflects her commitment to innovation and patient-centered practice.

Research Area - Her research interests primarily focus on amblyopia management and vision therapy. She is dedicated to exploring innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness of amblyopia treatment, particularly through neuro-vision therapy techniques. Her work emphasizes integrating advanced therapeutic modules to address the challenges faced by patients during amblyopia therapy, such as anxiety, stress, and adherence to treatment.
