Introduction: Dr.Vinod Jatav is currently working as an Assistant Professor at G.D. Goenka University, Gurgaon. He holds a Ph.D. in Vegetable Science from ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, an M.Sc. in Horticulture (Vegetable Science) from GBPUA&T, Pantnagar, and a B.Sc. in Horticulture from RVSKVV, Gwalior.

With over four years of teaching and research experience, his expertise includes marker-assisted resistance breeding, screening for bacterial wilt and root knot nematodes, metabolomics of disease resistance, and natural farming systems.

He has qualified several national-level exams including ICAR-JRF (AIR-19), ICAR-SRF (AIR-2), and NET-ASRB, and is a recipient of the UGC National Fellowship. Dr. Jatav holds a granted patent on a Portable Low Tunnel Polyhouse (2024) and has published extensively in reputed journals such as Nematology and European Journal of Plant Pathology. He is also involved in research projects funded by UPCST and DST-SHRI, focusing on salinity tolerance and indigenous farming technologies. In addition to academics, he has contributed to institutional quality enhancement, including roles in NAAC coordination and student development programs.
