School of Engineering organised “G D Goenka Science Quiz Contest-2018”
School of Engineering organised “G D Goenka Science Quiz Contest-2018” with full enthusiasmon 18 January 2018.
38 Teams from 15 different schools across Delhi (NCR) & Haryana participated in this contest.Each Team had three members in it, making a total of 111 students participating in the event.
The event started with the address of Prof. (Dr) Anshu Gupta, who shared her rich knowledge & experience. A written preliminary round preceded the final round for which 18 students were chosen out of a total of 111 (i.e. 6 teams out of 37). Meanwhile, the students who could not qualify the prelims were taken for Lab Visits and interactive sessions at G D Goenka University.
The tussle among 6 bright teams culminated, with 3 final positions, which are as follows:
- First Prize: DPS Maruti Kunj School, Haryana – Cash Prize Rs. 15,000
- Second Prize: G D Goenka World School, Sohna – Cash Prize Rs. 12,000
- Third Prize: Vivekanand Senior Secondary School, Dharuhera- Cash Prize- Rs,9,000
