4th National Pharmacovigilance Week

The Department of Pharmacy, School of Healthcare and Allied Sciences at GD Goenka University celebrated the 4th National Pharmacovigilance Week from September 17 to 23, 2024, under the theme "Building an ADR Reporting Culture for Patient Safety."

Prof. (Dr.) Saahil Arora, Dean, encouraged students to explore how technology can enhance Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) reporting and foster innovation in healthcare. The week featured an expert talk by Dr. Brijesh Pandey, Director of Pharmacovigilance at IQVIA India, who shared his extensive experience in pharmacovigilance across the globe.

Students participated in debates, quizzes, and Pharmalicious-2024, showcasing healthy, no-fire food. The event concluded with poster presentations and a prize distribution ceremony, recognizing students' achievements and contributions throughout the week.
