Introduction:

Dr. Sheetal Malhan is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at the School of Healthcare and Allied Sciences, G D Goenka University. She has more than 14 years of experience in academics and clinicals. She has a rich contribution to the field by imparting knowledge to the students through lectures and practical demonstrations.

Her key areas of interest are, Neurological rehabilitation, Dermatoglyphics, Neurology, Stroke Rehabilitation, Balance and Gait Training. She is actively associated with several institutional committees and professional boards, contributing her expertise to the advancement of academic and clinical practices.

She has also guided many PG and UG students in their dissertations/ research projects. She also serves as an external examiner for various universities. She has published over 25 research papers, book chapters in highly indexed national and international journals. She is also actively involved as a reviewer in many national and international journals.

Research Area- Neurological rehabilitation, Dermatoglyphics, Neurology, NDT, Stroke Rehabilitation, Balance and Gait Training, women health.

Major Subjects Handled: Physiotherapy in Neurological Conditions, Electrotherapy, Electrophysiology, Physical Diagnosis and Manipulative Skills, Clinical Neurology for UG and PG programs.
