Dr. Anindita Roy Chowdhury
Assistant Professor: Department of Physics
Dr. Anindita Roy Chowdhury is in the field of academics for more than 17 years. She has been teaching various domains of physics at undergraduate and postgraduate level in science and engineering across various institutes and universities in India.
Besides, she has contributed to diverse activities that range from setting up of modern physics laboratory, designing the course structure of various programmes related to physics, to serving as ISO coordinator and auditor, editorial board member of various institutional magazines and newsletters, coordinator of literary programmes and other academic activities. Currently, she also officiates as the Ph. D. Program Leader of School of Basic and Applied Sciences.
Anindita Roy Chowdhury holds a PhD degree from the University of Kalyani; MSc (Physics) from the University of North Bengal; and BSc (Physics Hons) from the University of North Bengal.

Anindita Roy Chowdhury is passionate about biophysical research in the in silico domain. She is involved in research on hydrophobic characterization of the protein molecules and is an ardent researcher in the environmental domain. She has also supervised several student projects at the undergraduate level ranging over different aspects related to Physics and environment.

Anindita’s current research interests are focused on hydrophobic characterization of the protein molecules and different aspects in the environmental domain. She is currently supervising a student project related to Physics of music and environment.
