Dr Raunak Dhanker won ‘Best Paper Presentation Award’ in ‘Clean Energy and Fuel Session’ in the ‘International Conference on Sustainable Cities and Communities (ICSCC-2020) held on 7-8th Feb’ 2020 in GD Goenka University. During her talk, she discussed about the valuable applications of microalgae, especially their utility in the production of biofuels and indicated the importance of utilization of the natural resources in a sustainable manner.
Under supervision of Dr. Raunak Dhanker, the postgraduate students- Mr. Shubham Goyal, Amity University, Noida and Mr. Krishna Kumar, Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi won 2nd Prize in the Poster Presentation Session of ICSCC-2020 conference. They had discussed about an integrated technology model for waste management of religious places as well as further utilization of waste for clean energy production. Thus, they had presented a small scale model which can make a substantial contribution in the economy of India and can help to achieve Renewable Energy Target of India, which is the most ambitious goal of Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDGs), 2030.
