Professional Biography

Neeharika is an expert in the area of forensic medicine, forensic botany and forensic biology. She has taught these subjects for more than four years at Galgotias University, Greater Noida and G D Goenka University, Haryana. Neeharika earned a PhD from the University of Allahabad; M.Sc. (Forensic Science) from SHUATS (Allahabad); and B.Sc. from Ewing Christian College (Allahabad). She was awarded a Silver Medal for the M.Sc (Forensic Science).

Neeharika Srivastava’s current research interests are focused on assessment of medicinal potential and toxicity of plant extracts in human blood samples as well as different animal models such as rats. Research experience in field of phytochemistry includes assessment of plant extracts activities, kinetic parameters of different enzymes including AChE, and antioxidative enzymes, in vivo and in vitro, isolation of phytoingredients using HPLC, GC-MS and evaluation of their impacts on different living systems.

Appointed as an external question paper setter of Forensic Science for SHUATS, Allahabad, U.P. India.

Organizing member of more than 10 International and National conferences/workshops.

Supervised more than 20 review projects of Bachelor’s students and 07 Dissertation work of Master’s students.
