Dr. Parveen Kumar
Assistant Professor: Environmental Science
Parveen Kumar is an expert in the area of environmental science with a background in wastewater treatment. He has taught subjects like environmental studies, environmental engineering, earth system science, geology, atmospheric science and climate change, environmental conservation and sustainable development, water resources management, pollution control and management, and wastewater treatment etc. for nearly seven years at Amity University and G D Goenka University.
Prior to taking up the current role in 2019, Parveen Kumar served in academic positions such as Programme Coordinator (M.Sc. Environmental Science), Amity University.
Parveen Kumar holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee; MSc (Environmental Science) from the Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut and BSc (Biological Science) from the University of Delhi.

Dr. Kumar’s current research interests are focused on wastewater treatment using constructed wetlands, photocatalysis, and waste management. He is sharing above research projects with other eminent researchers.
Parveen’s current research interests are focused on wastewater treatment using constructed wetlands and study of aquatic ecosystems in terms of physic-chemical parameters and biodiversity. He is sharing above research projects with other eminent researchers.
